My son was at summer camp all last week. It was a camp where are outside almost all day long being physically active. Swimming, paintball, archery, sports, etc... This is his third year going and he loves it!
He is always in the best mood when we pick him up. Filthy and fulfilled is how I would describe it. They don't have to shower the last night there. Appreciate that there camp, always a fun 4 hour ride home with a stanking boy.

Sweat, sunshine, physical activity, and laughter really is a magical combination. It is one of the reasons our boot camp have been so successful. Your body rewards you with feel good hormones, when you move your body and get fresh air and sunlight like it was designed to.

The past few weeks I have been getting foot cramps at jiujitsu. I will somehow have miraculously worked my way into a good position and a vicious arch cramp will hit. Those things are no joke!
I started to ask myself, why are these happening all of a sudden? All the usual things checked out normal such as a hydration, activity level, nutrition. Then it hit me.
My shoes!
I had started wearing a certain pair of shoes that I have more often. These shoes were cramming my toes together, making my foot arch all funny, and causing my foot cramps.
I bit into that sweet peanut butter and strawberry jelly sandwich and it was glorious. Until I noticed something. I had a small itching sensation in the back of throat. I don't typically eat a lot of bread, but when I do I get this feeling. It's not life threatening or anything, just annoying.
All three of these instances are examples of the human body giving out clues that something is right or something is wrong. So many times we ignore these symptoms.
We haven't been active, outside, and moving for awhile and find ourselves with low energy and depressed.
We ignore tiny pains and strains until they become something major.
We ignore little annoyances like an itchy throat, bloating, or some other food reaction.
You are a very busy person with hundreds of things going on in your world, it can be easy to miss these or even mask these symptoms. But take some time this week to check in with yourself.
What is your body telling you? You don't have to settle for feeling sick and tired all the time! You don't even have to settle for feeling average! Life is too short, why not feel the best you possibly can for as long as you can?
Look for the clues that wil lead you to live your best life. If you ever have questions or need help, I am here to help.
