I am helping plan two really fun races this year. One is the first ever Rocket City Microthon. It is a 0.12K. You read that correctly. It is only 393 feet long. This race is going to be crazy, fun, and ridiculous! The date and time is September 16th, at 2pm. All proceeds benefit Merrimack Hall's arts program for youth and adults with special needs. If nothing else, go to the website and read about the Slacker's Package.
The second race will be the second ever Rocket City Adventure Race. It is a partner race in downtown Huntsville that has 18 stations of fun. Last year we had dizzy bat races, shot cups off of people's heads with Nerf guns, had a climbing wall, an inflatable, and a ton of other fun things. It will be November 4th at 2pm. The race is completely free, but we do take donations/sell t-shirts to benefit Girls On The Run of North Alabama. Girls On The Run is an after school activity based character development program for girls.
You could really help me out by offering up some suggestion on what you would like to see at either of these races. Think outside the box, dream big dreams, and let your creative mind wander free! Any and all suggestions welcome.
Please go to this one questions survey site and add as many suggestions as you like. Thank you in advance, I can't wait to see what you come up with!
