One of my core values that drives everything I do, is living with Relentless Positivity. Being positive does not mean faking happiness even when things go bad. "The house is on fire! Kids go get some marshmallows!"
Positivity is a choice.
It is choosing to see opportunity, when others see problems.
It is choosing to focus on what you have control over, rather than putting all your effort into what went wrong.
It is choosing to look towards the possibilities in the future, rather than dwell on the mistakes of the past.
It is choosing to look for the good in people, rather than finding every fault possible.
It is choosing to believe that you are powerful beyond belief, because why would you choose otherwise?
I've lived a life where I focused only on the bad things going on. That only made them seem bigger, meaner, and nastier!
Change always starts in the mind first. I've worked with so many women who:
-are fantastic moms
-great spouses
-have successful careers
-fulfilling spiritual lives
They have many good things in their life, but they still feel like a failure! Why? Because they have some extra weight on them.

It is exciting to me to meet people like that! Because that is exactly the type of women I got into the fitness business to help. Immersing them in a positive atmosphere, continually lifting them up, building their confidence, etc... That can have a tremendous impact over time!
I have always believed that if you want to change the world, you start with women. I've got the stats to back it up too, but that is a story for another day.
I talked about building momentum to reach your goals in my last e-mail. Start building momentum in your positivity too. Don't ignore all the problems in your life and walk around with a fake smile plastered on your lips.
Instead, look for ways to choose the bright side and embrace the incredible opportunities that are out there for you. I frequently see women reach goals they used to think were impossible. Why can't that be you?
