The Federal Trade Commission says that 95% of Americans who begin a fitness program regain ALL or MORE of the weight they lost. That is depressing!

So what are we supposed to do? That is a harsh stat, especially if you have a lot to lose.

Help is on the way! Whenever you want to achieve something you should study how the successful people have done it and do what they do.
According to the National Weight Control Registry there are 3 things that people who dropped 60 pounds or more and KEPT it off for more than 5 years had in common:

1. They exercised

Not just any exercise, but they exercised 5 days per week for an hour a day on a consistent basis. If you have a lot of weight to lose, you also have a lot of work to put in.

2. They ate breakfast every day

It is the most important meal of the day for a reason. It is right in the name. It literally breaks your fast.
Think about how long you go in between meals if you eat dinner at 6pm and then breakfast at 6am. 12 hours! Now think about if you don't eat until lunch time. It could be 18 hours between meals.
Going too long in between meals is not good for you. You tend to eat more junk, your metabolism slows down, and you will not have as much energy. Eat your breakfast.

3. They kept food journals

Seems like somebody else said that was pretty important too. Who was that dashing red headed man? I keep talking about them because they work! Try it and see.
