That’s a pretty sweet title to an e-mail isn’t it? It is based on a quote I saw from Derek Sivers in Tim Ferriss’ “Tools of Titans” book. Sivers said:
Chances are, you have everything you need RIGHT NOW to reach the goal you want. You don’t need more information, you need application.
There is so much information out there in the health and wellness space, it can be very overwhelming. Especially when a lot of what you read contradicts the other stuff you read.
That is why my main themes with these posts are to try to get you motivated to take some kind of action. I do put out some information based posts to help you wade through all the garbage out there, but overall I am trying to get you to make a change via action.
Then when you make that change I want to help you stick to it. Consistency is king when you are looking to reach long term goals.
“It’s not what you know, it’s what you do consistently.”
-Tim Ferriss
Two things:
1. What are you going to do today to get closer to your goal?
Big or small, take at least one step forward each day.
2. How are you going to stick to it?
Make it something you enjoy (or at the very least don’t hate), that’s convenient, doable, and you confident you can accomplish. In the beginning you are looking to give yourself small victories. This opposed to the “I will exercise every day for 2 hours and eat chicken and broccoli at every meal” type of goals that will burn you out and make you feel like a failure.
From there, slowly make your goals more challenging, but still still attainable. Keep that Big Hairy Audacious Goal (AKA BHAG such as lose 65 pounds) at the forefront of your mind, but also keep in mind that you are in this for the long term, it's not happening over night.
Big accomplishments are the compilation of lots and lots of little victories. Keep consistently piling up those victories and you will be well on your way to 6-pack abs and a billion dollars.

Small print- Results may vary. Strongly recommended that you have rich parents with excellent genetics.
