The mental game is just as important, if not more so, than the physical part of getting the body you want. Do you have an image of what your ideal body would look like?

What do you have to do to get that body? What do you have to eat? How much sleep do you need? What does that body look like?

Now put that image in your head. Go it? Now make a fist and think about what your ideal body looks like.

Any time temptation comes up (going out to eat, at a party, someone brought in homemade cookies, etc...) you make that fist.

It may sound silly, but it is a tangible way to remember your goals and what you have to do to get there. That feeling the food gives you is only temporary, but feeling good is for life. How much does it really mean to you?

Until you are willing to make the necessary sacrifices, you WILL NOT change your body. It's that simple. It takes all of the big 3 (exercise, nutrition, and sleep) to get where you want to be.

Just try it, if nothing else you will strengthen your finger, hand, wrist, and forearm muscles making your fist. You have nothing to lose.
